Director & Writer
Theodore Rodney
Theodore Rodney is a screenwriter and director hailing from Nottingham, with a passion for storytelling that blossomed after completing his academic and sports journey at Rugby School. A graduate in Filmmaking from London South Bank University, Theodore’s final year short film, The World We Hear, earned three prestigious awards, including the Lenny Henry Diversity and Inclusion Award. Since then, he has focused on writing and At This Moment, It’s Us is his latest short film.
A deeply personal story inspired by his upbringing, it aims to highlight the experiences of single mothers and young boys across England.

Producer
Dominic 'Domo' Ko
Dominic Ko, a Singaporean producer based in London, brings a diverse skill set to filmmaking with his background in law, finance, and storytelling. He is the producer of the award-winning Straight 8 film My Cuppa Tea and the stage play On Block 788, which he co-wrote.
With a keen eye for narrative, honed through his experience as a student film critic at renowned festivals like BFI London Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, and London East Asia Film Festival, Dominic is passionate about telling stories that offer deeper insights into the human condition.

Director of Photography
Chaa Ustaoglu
Chaa Ustaoglu is a London-based cinematographer and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling through visual artistry. His work on the 16mm film, The Holy Yield earned recognition as Best Short Film at the TerrorMolins Film Festival and multiple awards for My Cuppa Tea, which he also directed.
Chaa has a particular affinity for shooting his stories on celluloid film, bringing a distinctive and versatile aesthetic to his projects.

Composer
Sinmi Alli-Balogun
Sinmi, a Brighton-born film composer based in Manchester, creates heartfelt and evoking scores for high-end brand commercials and Film projects. With a solid foundation in gospel music, Sinmi blends soulful harmonies with orchestral and electronic textures to craft immersive soundscapes.
Passionate about storytelling through music, Sinmi’s work bridges the worlds of heavy sound design and deeply expressive composition, bringing the audience closer to the story through sound.

Production Designer
Lucy Ashmore
Lucy Ashmore is an Art Director with over 4 years of experience in the industry. Originating from a graphic design background and with time spent in immersive theatre production she has gathered an expansive eye for spaces from a variety of perspectives.

She has been on board recent productions Sweetpea (2024) and Kazuo Ishiguro’s film adaptation of A Pale View of Hills (2024) - as a petty cash/action prop buyer she carries a strong affinity for detail and a consideration of how every decision affects the narrative of a set.

Bringing in further experience Art Directing short films, commercials and music videos she takes pride in ensuring that each story is told with the nuance it deserves.

Cultural and Visual Consultant
Eliza Adedeji
Eliza is a multidisciplinary visual artist, filmmaker, and art director with a passion for storytelling through bold, purposeful visuals. Her work draws from themes of identity, memory, and faith— blending aesthetics with meaning to create art that resonates on a deeper level.
Rooted in her values and creative intuition, Eliza works across mediums, always with intention. Her portfolio includes collaborations with Tate Modern, Nike, Highsnobiety, Spotify, NOTION, PUMA, Urban Outfitters, PhotoVogue, Beats by Dre, WEARESOUL, HEAPDAILY, and more.
At the core of her practice is a commitment to staying grounded— remembering who she is, and inviting others to do the same.

Head of Marketing
Ryan Lee
Ryan Lee is a London-based Singaporean social media marketing specialist with a dynamic background in content creation, telling stories through photography, videography, and photo and video editing. He most recently spearheaded the marketing and volunteer coordination for the 2024 London East Asia Film Festival and served as the official photographer for Where the Cloud Catches Colours at The Barbican Centre.
Driven by a mission to share this heartfelt film with the widest possible audience, Ryan brings both strategy and creativity to his role in this project.
An emerging filmmaker in his own right, Ryan is currently developing his own short film, set to premiere in late 2025.

Ellen Chee
Ellen Chee is a creative who has love for many forms of art. Learning to draw as a child by observing her two older sisters, she eventually pursued a Diploma in Graphic Design at Temasek Polytechnic and ended her formal education studying Digital Filmmaking at NTU School of Art, Design and Media, giving her a unique blend of skills to aid her creative pursuits.
As someone who loves to create stories from the personalities and environments around her, Ellen enjoys people watching and photography – both of which inspire her to write unique, personal stories that hit the soft spot.

Photographer for Matrescence
Yilin Wong
Yilin Wong is a Hong Kong–raised, London-based image-maker. Her work draws from her upbringing in the city and her experience immigrating to the West, shaped by racial and gender-based adversity. Her work is driven by a desire to build meaningful connections- even to her own photographs. Through a labor-intensive analog practice, she forms intimate connections with her prints, refining each image to reflect how she wants it to be seen.
She believes in the importance of learning beyond our own bubbles, discouraging ignorance, and promoting understanding.

Matrescence is a supplementary photography project documenting single mothers in London, documenting trails of their unconditional love. She hopes their portraits invite reflection not only on their tenacity and tenderness, but also on the endurance of love.
